Directions for the operation
General remarks
Before being brought into the clean-room, all apparatus’ must be cleaned by dusting, vacuum cleaning, washing or any equivalent method best suitable for the apparatus in question.
Neither smoking nor eating are allowed in a clean-room.
Clean-room personnel should wear fibre-free working clothes or smocks. Headgears covering the whole head and facial hair as well as other clothing should be worn if necessary.
An area must be fixed where the use of paper is allowed. For making the necessary notes and reports paper is available that does not emit particles.
Only ball-pens must be used for writing. Pencils and rubbers are not admissible.
Handcream or soap containing lanolin that avoid the emission of skin particles should be used in appropriate extend.
Hands should not come into contact with solvents as many solvents decompose the natural fat of the skin and result in peeling off skin.
Nail-varnish must be taken off before entering the clean-room.
The cleaning personnel must not use cosmetics and medicaments that may lead to contaminations, especially eye make-up, rouge, face powder and hairspray must be avoided.
Gloves, covers for fingers, tweezers or other clean aids or moving devices should be used fort he handling and movement of sensible parts in order to avoid contamination by loose particles of skin or natural fat of the skin.
Suction devices for grinding, welding, soldering, mechanical treatment or other related working processes must be designed accordingly.
